Job Description
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for leading the ongoing development of the Salesforce deployment. They will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the CRM platform.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 200+ users
- Handle all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks.
- Grant, remove and maintain user licenses.
- Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels.
- Design, create and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies.
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
- Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations.
- Manage data integrity by eliminating duplicate leads, contacts, and accounts; performing mass uploads and updates of data as required; checking screens, fields and workflow for accuracy.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
- Work with cross-functional business units to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities of the CRM system.
- Assist in training new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
- Work with our application support teams to grow their skill set in order to assist in supporting daily salesforce related issues.
- Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams.
- Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements.
- Develop complex reports to summarize system information for business leaders.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce administrator.
- Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified desirable.
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications desirable.
- Experience in the implementation of Salesforce software is a plus.
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality with the ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
- Strong data management abilities
- Excellent project management skills with a documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- Deliverable experience managing projects via Agile methodologies, which include requirements gathering, prototyping, project controls, testing and quality management, and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Strong communicator and able to draw consensus from multiple disciplines.
- Willing to constantly stay abreast and learn new software and market conditions and technologies.
